  • WEDNESDAY WANDERERING BY THE SEASIDE - KIRKCALDY Wednesday 21 May 2025 12:00 Betty Nichols

As the weather seems to be on the up we have arranged a Wander with a difference. We are off to the seaside! Feel free to bring your bucket and spade to build a sandcastle and enjoy an ice cream.

    Travel:

This is pretty easy for many to get to Kirkcaldy. Travelling from the FVR Hospital is via X24 or X27 direct to Kirkcaldy via Kincardine, Dunfermline & Halbeath P&R. Half hourly service.

From Stirling access is either via the 38 to FVRH or to Dunfermline on the X22 and pick the X24 or X27 up there.

We will gather in the Betty Nichols between 12.00 & 1pm.

Directions: go to the High Street from the Bus Station, turn left and walk along High street for 400 yds or so. Pub is on the left after the High Street narrows. 3 handpulls and is Fife's Pub Of The Year.

Other real ale haunts that you may move on to are the Robert Nairn (Wetherspoons) with 6 handpulls & the Exchequer with 2 handpulls.
