Festivals don’t happen by chance and take a lot of organising. If anyone wants to get involved in this festival this will be our initial planning meeting.

Venue to be announced shortly. Watch this space.

  • Summer Trip to Seaside - North Berwick Saturday 22 August 2026 12:40 North Berwick

As the sun has finally come out thought we would have a trip to the seaside!

Starting point is Waverly Station, Edinburgh. 12:40 Train to North Berwick (Usually Platform 3) Arrive 13:14 Unfortunately since I checked all the pubs personally a few months back, one appears to have closed and is currently being refitted. But just in case it is open in August. I will confirm before the day of we add it in.

    1. ' The Law'. 15-17 High Street, North Berwick, EH39 4HH Arrival around 13:30. A renovated pub. Usually 2 on. Highly likely to be on the IPA side of things.

Depart around 14:15. just a wee nip roon tha corner to....

    2. The, 'The Ship Inn'. 7-9 Quality Street, North Berwick, EH39 4HJ Usually 3 on. 2 Lightly to be on the, 'Golden' and, ' IPA' end of things. But they may just have something dark on the third. I would also suggest it is a good pub for a bite to eat. So the departure time is suitably extended.

Depart 15:30 3. The Auld Hoose 19 Forth Street, North Berwick, EH39 4HX Although the previous pub is the one in the guide, this one was my favorite. And it has the CAMRA discount! Usually a bitter, a IPA and and 80/- type ale on. Aiming for the 16:50 Train back to Edinburgh. Arrives at 17:22.

    Everyone welcome.
